We’ll be entering the hottest stretch of 2018 thus far this weekend. It seems we only had about one week of Spring before we hopped into Summer!
Upper level ridging will move into the place throughout the day today. This, combined with gusty southwest winds will lead to temperatures in the upper 80s. A Lake Wind Advisory is in effect today, so boaters beware of rough lake water conditions.
An isolated shower may be possible this evening, but coverage should remain limited. Lows will drop into the upper 60s.
Another hot day is expected Saturday as that upper level ridge remains in place across the region. Gusty southwest winds will once again lead to highs in the upper 80s. Overnight lows will once again drop into the upper 60s.
The aforementioned upper level ridge will strengthen some on Sunday. This may intensify heating across the region, pushing high temperatures into the upper 80s to even low 90s.
That should wrap up this forecast. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Friday!
