A bit of a complicated forecast this morning with a line of storms located to the west of the region. This radar shot was taken around 6 AM and showed a line of storms moving east into the region from southeast Missouri.
This line of showers and storms should gradually work into the region today. This may limit temperatures some, but we’ll still likely warm into the mid 80s. Gusty southwest winds have prompted a Lake Wind Advisory to be issued today, so boaters be cautious on the water today.
Showers will move back into the region later tonight as lows drop into the mid 60s.
More showers and storms are expected Friday as a cold front slowly works into the region from the west. Light showers will be likely throughout the day Friday with an occasional thunderstorm or pocket of heavy rain. Highs will warm into the upper 70s.
Showers and storms continue overnight as lows drop back into the low 60s. No severe weather is expected at this time, but I’m keeping an eye on it.
Wet Weather Continues Saturday
Showers will remain in the forecast for Saturday, especially during the morning hours. Highs will top out in the mid 70s.
That should wrap up this forecast. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
