A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from 4 PM to 4 AM Monday. This replaces the winter weather advisory that was in effect.
Model data continues to suggest bands of heavy, wet snow will move across western Kentucky this evening. This will lead to widespread snow accumulations of 2-4” with isolated higher amounts not out of the question. As of now, those higher amounts could end up closer to the Ohio River.
This will lead to travel concerns overnight and in the morning hours. Heavy snow will result in decreased visibility tonight and snow covered roads may be possible in the morning commute.
