A nice Tuesday is forecast across the region. Temperatures in the mid 40s this morning will warm into the mid to upper 60s this afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Clouds will increase in the afternoon along with a southerly breeze.
Rain moves into the region overnight. Showers may begin to work into the region as early as 9 PM, though a majority of the rain will move in after midnight. Lows will drop into the low 50s.
The rain will continue into Wednesday. The steady rain may become heavy at times. There may be a few breaks here and there in the afternoon as highs top out in the mid 60s once again. Given already swollen creeks and rivers, there is a “marginal” risk of flash flooding. Think of this as a level 1 out of 4 threat.
Widespread rain moves back into the region from the west Wednesday evening and overnight. Lows will drop back into the low 50s once again.
A cold front is expected to move through the region Thursday. Once again, abundant showers are expected in the morning hours. Conditions may clear up some in the afternoon with a cold frontal passage around noon. Temperatures will be limited to the upper 50s.
That should wrap up this forecast. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
