Scattered showers this morning will give way to cloudy skies during the late morning and afternoon hours. Southerly winds may gust up to 30 mph as they usher in very warm temperatures. Highs will top out in the low to mid 70s.
A line of heavy showers and storms will form to the north of the region along a cold front. This cold front will move through the region in the early morning hours Friday, leading to lows in the low to mid 40s as the wind shifts out of the north.
Temperatures will drop throughout the day on Friday. A cold rain is expected to give way to isolated showers Friday afternoon. Temperatures by 3 PM will be in the upper 30s. Northerly winds could gust up to 25 mph.
Mostly cloudy skies will still be in place Friday night, which will limit how far lows go down. Right now, I’m expecting lows to fall right around freezing.
More rain should spread into the region from the south as highs work their way back into the mid 40s on Saturday.
That should wrap up this forecast. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Thursday!
