Despite a cold start to the day, temperatures should warm into the mid 40s this afternoon thanks to southerly winds around 10 mph. Gusts could get up to around 20 mph this afternoon.
Rain will begin to move into the region this evening from the south. A few flakes may mix in at onset of precipitation, but should quickly transition to rain by 8 PM. Rain will continue into the overnight hours and Sunday morning. It will be a cold rain as lows tonight drop into the upper 30s.
Rain should move out of the region Sunday morning by 10 AM. We’ll be stuck with mostly cloudy skies after that. Highs will warm into the mid 40s early in the afternoon before cold air begins to spill into the region from the north. Lows will drop into the upper teens.
That should wrap up this short forecast. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!
