First of all, I need to say that my thoughts and prayers are with all involved in the tragic events that took place Tuesday morning at the high school. My heart breaks for you and with you.
Slightly warmer conditions are expected today as high pressure is located east of the region. This will allow for southerly winds to return to the region. Highs will push into the mid to upper 50s under sunny skies.
Temperatures will cool into the mid 30s under mostly clear skies tonight. Winds will continue out of the south around 5 to 10 mph.
Southerly flow will strengthen on Friday, which will lead to continued warmth. We should once again top out in the upper 50s under mostly sunny skies. Southerly winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
A few showers will be likely Friday night, especially late overnight and into the wee hours of Saturday morning. Overnight lows will drop into the mid 40s.
A rainy Saturday is on tap for the region as a cold front moves through. Temperatures will stall in the mid 50s for most of the area. Up to 1/2″ of rain is possible Saturday, though most places will likely see less than 1/4″.
That should wrap up this forecast. Thanks for stopping by and know that I’m continuing to pray for the community I hold so dear.
