The deformation band is taking shape over west Tennessee and west Kentucky. This will lead to enhanced snow totals across the region. The blues and magenta represent snow.
Embedded thunder and lightning may be possible this morning. This is a pretty rare phenomenon that not a lot of people get to experience. The map below indicates about a 30% chance of lightning.
We’ll need to adjust snow totals upward now. I expect 2-4″ now across the entire county, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see someone get upwards of 6″ depending on their location within the heavy snow band.
