We’ll have one last day of bitterly cold temperatures across the region today. After starting the morning at 7°, we should warm to around 26° by this afternoon. Wind chills will be in the single digits to around zero this morning. The NAM model says we only get up to 24° by 3 PM.
Clouds will increase overnight ahead of our next weather maker on Sunday. Lows tonight will drop back into the high teens. The clouds and a southeast breeze save us from another night of single digit temperatures.
The weather on Sunday looks a bit complicated. A mix of freezing rain and rain will be possible around noon on Sunday before transitioning to all rain in the afternoon. I’ll have a special forecast post dedicated to that since light icing may be possible. Have a great day!
