Wind Advisory in Effect

Temperatures were quite cold this morning! According to the Kentucky Mesonet, several places across the state dipped below 20°!


Gusty southwest winds will help usher warmer air into the region today. Highs will likely top out around 54° this afternoon!


A Wind Advisory is in effect for the region. Southwest winds could gust as high as 40 mph this afternoon. Make sure loose object including trashcans, trampolines, and Christmas decorations are tied down! Read the below statement from the National Weather Service!

A cold front associated with a clipper system will move through this evening. This will help temperatures into the upper 20s overnight. A few flurries may be possible late overnight and into Thursday morning, but no real impacts are expected.
