Gusty southwest winds will move into the region on Wednesday ahead of yet another clipper system. This will “warm” temperatures back to around 50° by the afternoon hours. The GFS model says we may even reach 52° by 3 PM.
However, The cold front associated with the clipper will likely move through Wednesday evening and overnight. This will lead to overnight lows in the lows 30s and upper 20s. A few snow showers or flurries may be possible Thursday morning. Here’s the Hi-Res NAM Model.
Thursday will remain chilly thanks to northwest flow. In fact, Thursday’s weather will be very similar to today. Highs are only expected to recover into the low 40s. The GFS Model below shows the overall weather setup.
