Cold Today and Thanksgiving
The cold front pushed through last night and cold conditions have resulted from it. Temperatures are currently around 29° (6 AM), and that will likely be the low.
We’re not expecting much warming at all today despite mostly sunny skies. Highs will likely top out around 44°. With a light northerly breeze, it’ll feel a few degrees colder than that!
The cold is expected to continue overnight. Lows will likely drop to around 27° under mostly clear skies. Thanksgiving Day will see quite a bit of sun across the area. This will allow temperatures to warm to right around 50°, so not a bad day in store at all!
If you’re going to stand in line early for Black Friday, you should know that low temperatures on Thanksgiving night will drop to around 33°, so be sure to layer up!
Black Friday And Weekend Warmth
Southerly winds will increase ahead of a cold front on Black Friday. This will lead to warming conditions under mostly sunny skies. Southerly winds around 5 to 10 mph will lead to temperatures topping out in the upper 50s! I’d much rather spend my day outdoors if that’s the case!
Despite the cold front moving through Friday night, temperatures on Saturday should remain above normal for this time of year, topping out around 60°! However, a bit more chilly conditions are expected Sunday.
