The main story today will be the chilly conditions across the area despite the sunny skies. Temperatures started out this morning around 35° and will only top out around 45°. Northwest winds around 5-10 mph will make it feel a few degrees colder than that!
Overnight lows will drop to around 30° under mostly clear skies.
Temperatures should moderate as an area of high pressure moves to the east of the region on Monday. This will lead to southerly return flow and temperatures topping out around 50°.
Southerly flow will intensify some on Tuesday ahead of yet another cold front. This will lead to temperatures in the mid to upper 50s on Tuesday afternoon. Fortunately, the cold front on Tuesday evening and night should be dry and no rain is expected. Lows will drop back into the mid to low 30s.
Thanksgiving Eve and Day
High pressure should move in place on Wednesday and Thanksgiving, so the forecast looks dry. Highs on Wednesday will top out in the low to mid 40s, while temperatures on Thanksgiving should top out in the mid to upper 40s.
