- Cloudy and chilly today
- Isolated showers possible overnight
- Chilly Wednesday followed by warmer Thursday
Today – Mostly Cloudy – High 51° / Tonight – Isolated Showers – Low 43°
The cold front and most of its moisture has pushed well south of the area. This will lead overcast skies and chilly temperatures for today. Current temperatures are around 50° and I don’t expect much increase at all today. Highs will likely be right around 51°. Quite a chilly day with northerly winds around 5 – 10 mph. According to the Kentucky Mesonet, Draffenville picked up about 0.15″ of rain last night. The heavier rain was to the south of the region.
Isolated showers may develop overnight as a disturbance moves out the north. Lows will be around 43°
Wednesday – Partly Cloudy – High 53° / Wed Night – Partly cloudy – Low 35°
High pressure will begin to settle into place on Wednesday. This will lead to partly cloudy skies throughout the day. Temperatures will remain chilly as highs are expected to be around 53°.
Partly cloudy skies are likely to continue overnight as lows drop back to around 35°.
Thursday – Mostly Sunny – High 58° / Thur Night – Mostly Clear – Low 33°
Mostly sunny skies are expected Thursday as high pressure becomes better established across the region. This will lead to slightly warmer temperatures into the mid to upper 50s.
Mostly clear conditions are expected to continue overnight as lows drop to just at or above freezing. Sounds like great “chili” weather to me!
