The Threat of Severe Weather Will Increase in the Coming Hours

A line of strong to severe storms has formed to the north of the region. This line has a history of producing damaging wind, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.

The Storm Prediction Center is monitoring the region. A tornado or severe thunderstorm watch will likely be issued within a couple hours. Large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes will all be possible this evening and overnight.

As of now the main time frame of concern is beginning to look like 7 PM to 11 PM. A line of storms will be approaching the region with a chance of isolated storms forming ahead of the line.
