This Afternoon – Partly Cloudy – High 58°↓ / Tonight – Partly Cloudy – Low 37°

Partly cloudy skies are expected for the remainder of the afternoon thanks to a cold front moving through the region. Fortunately, the cold front is pretty moisture-starved, so no rain is expected from the frontal passage.

Showers will spread into the region on Halloween night. This will be in response to a shortwave trough getting absorbed into the base of a longwave trough over the region. This will lead to southerly low to mid level flow and moisture advection. Translation: Rain will be likely Tuesday night as lows drop to around 40°.
